Our History
Founded in 2021 by a passionate Dr. Ansbert Mutashobya, Abite Medical & Health Services Ltd. (previous known as Abite Medical Supplies) started its operations as an online medical tools store.
Starting as a small store, with no physical location, delivering medical equipment in streets of Dar es Salaam and later on other regions of Tanzania, the company quickly gained recognition for its innovative approach to use Email marketing and Google Ads to attract and retain existing customers.
The business was ceased in 2022 due to outside work responsilities of both Dr. Ansbert and his partner, Mr. Amana.
After deep discussions between the two partners, the business was opened once again in 2023, with a new partner (Alicia Filbert), as a blog offering free health articles and selling e-books.
In early 2024, the business was incorporated into a company. Current we offer services ranging from recovery medical equipment (sale and rental), home-based physiotherapy, article writing, and mass education.

As a company, our vision is championing a holistic approach to wellness through digital health tools that empower individuals, specifically Africans, to live their healthiest lives.
We strive to redefine the home recovery solutions by leveraging technology to deliver personalized, proactive, and preventive care to all Tanzanians, and eventually to all parts of Africa.
This will be achieved through our mission which is to harness the power of technology to transform home-based physiotherapy, making it more efficient, accessible, and patient-centric. We have started this through our blog, Abite Afya, which offers health articles (free), eBooks and online medical consultations.
We believe in leveraging innovation to address the most pressing challenges facing the healthcare industry today, ultimately improving the quality of life for individuals around Tanzania and East Africa.

Sale of Recovery Medical Equipment
From physiotherapy to rehabilitation equipment.
Rental of Recovery Equipment
This service is for short-term patients only (4 weeks max). Includes renting of hospital beds, wheelchairs and walking aides.
Home-Based Physiotherapy
Provided by our physiotherapist officers, this service includes daily or/and weekly sessions done at a patient's home.
Free Health Articles
They can be accessed through our blog in the categories of: general health, dental health, weight & nutrition, child & mother health, zero malaria.
Article Writing Service
Mainly made for private and public health organizations which need to elevate their online presence through Google Search.
